Mission
Hello, my name is Bruce Fisher I provide Guiding and lodging on Penns Creek. 2015 will mark my 40th season fishing Penns Creek and her surrounding waters. How time "flies" I only wish I had another 30 to enjoy her beauty and hatches. Fishing Penns Creek and her tributaries has been a great adventure and wonderful teacher for 7 generations of my family. I live on Penns Creek and I love the land and the people, the fishing can be as good as it gets at times. The mission at Penns Creek Angler is to supply fishermen with a quality experience and useful advice to make your trips more successful. My goal is to share my life long love of Penns Creek with you and offer some help when you need it.
My flies are directed specifically towards the hatches on Penns Creek. Over the years I have designed new and innovative patterns as well as reinvented some of the old standards. All of these flies are available through mail order.
To add to this PCA will sell a private line of fishing rods that will start with top quality blanks and components that will be assembled with the highest degree of care and quality workmanship. From the most affordable to the most complex rods you will see the how our commitment to detail distinguishes our rods from others. Each and every custom rod that comes from Penns Creek Angler will be a labor of love.
With Penns Creek being a stones throw away from my house I can tell you “this is hatching” its on my window screen in the morning. If the creeks in bad condition I'll direct you to another creek that will fish better. I also have a small feeder steam that feeds Penns outside my house and this provides useful information and fair Brook Trout fishing. My goal is to update the website as much as possible with current hatch information. At Penns Creek Angler we don’t just want to sell you flies we want to give you as much information as you need so you can enjoy your time on the water.

My hope is that Penns Creek will gain some needed friends.
A creek without a few good friends is a dead creek and Penns needs friends.
Think about joining your local Trout Unlimited chapter it may turn out to be the best thing you could do for a sport that gives you so much.
